Whether it be the retail scene, the cultural diversity, the architecture or the topographic landscape that sets them apart what’s certain is that each one is different from the next.

Although many of us are biased to our own neighbourhood,  The Martin Prosperity Institute has done a study to objectively rank all of Toronto’s neighbourhoods comprising of the following criteria and the respective weight each factor holds within the big picture:

Housing (15%), crime (13%), transit (11%), shopping (11%), health (10%), entertainment (10%), community (8%), diversity (7%), schools (7%), and employment (7%)

3. Playter Estates – Danforth

4. Runnymede – Bloor West Village

5. Lawrence Park North

6. North Riverdale

7. Yonge – St Clair
